The Orleans County 4-H Robotics Club mixes the best of the 4-H program, with the power of FIRST. Our sponsors allow us to provide an exciting STEM opportunity to the students of all 5 school districts in Orleans County.
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is an organization in which students learn gracious professionalism through robot construction and community service. FIRST strives to get kids interested in STEM-centered careers (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.) People within the FIRST program are exposed to real-world situations in engineering and business-related careers, and many more.
Our goal as a FIRST team is to spread this message. In the coming years, we look to complete many hours of community service, as well as build successful robots.
